This is the last week of March, and I'm at my sister's. I'm hoping that this will be my last week here, but there's no telling at this point. The situation that I had been called out of my hometown for has been taking longer to be resolved than what had been originally anticipated. (I'm tempted to ask how much longer I'm needed, but that part probably has yet to be determined. I'll just do what I need to do and let my sister bring up when I'm going home.)
My birthday is a week from this coming Sunday. For all I know, I might be here even through that. If that ends up happening, maybe I'll go out for a root beer float at the local A&W or something. If I'm home in time for my birthday, maybe I'll go drinking. I'll just have to wait and see.

Back At My Sister's For The Second (And Hopefully Last) Time
As of last Friday, I had been in my own home. My nephew came with me as plans to go visit his dad over spring break ended up falling through. The dogs that belong to my sister and her boyfriend came with us as well.
Short of going to church on Sunday, I was pretty much confined to the house. My nephew had schoolwork to do every day. Luckily though, it'd be done before 3:30 each afternoon. That's when my mom would come home (though under normal circumstances, she's at work until 5), and the two of them would do something together. I don't think they did anything special yesterday, but they went to the park on Monday and Wednesday and made rice crispy treat sushi on Tuesday. (My mom learned the hard way not to say "park" and "walk" in front of Millie, who belongs to my sister's boyfriend, unless she's invited. Millie told Mom off for mentioning the word "park" in front of her with no intention of taking her along. Those of us that know better either spell out the aforementioned words or use the term "you-know-what".)
My sister came and got me, her kid, and the dogs late this morning. I have no clue as to when I will be home for good. Presumably, I'll be here for at least another week, if not longer. I'm hoping it won't be too long before I can return to my routine.

Still At My Sister's
I had thought I'd be going home at the end of February. However, that ended up not working out as the situation I had left home for has yet to be resolved. I was, however, able to go home last weekend in order to participate in the fashion show for the Doggie Bag. I had to return that Sunday night, though.
I'd go into some detail about what it is I needed to do out of town, but I'm afraid that my sister would not hear of it. I may be going home over "Spring Break". That's when my sister and her boyfriend are going out of town, and my nephew will be staying with me, my mom, and my stepdad. (The original plan was for my nephew to go visit his dad over Spring Break, but that plan has been scrapped due to something that happened to the dad last weekend when my nephew was visiting him.) However, I'm lucky if I will be back home "for good" before the month is up.
Hopefully, this coming week will be the last week I will be needed. When I am home for good, I will need to resume my job search as well as my work at the Doggie Bag.
